Tishad, founder of TGC

Born in Trinidad & Tobago and surrounded by business minds all his life, Tishad started selling at eight years old: chow, books from whoever would hand them over, door to door. He was persistent, and always conscious of money and the value of it. Selling, and art, were instilled in him early.

Fashion and art were all around him, with that classic Caribbean twist. Carnival shaped his eye: the scale, the colour, the flamboyance and the craft behind every bead and feather. He always loved fashion, and above all the way people felt when they wore certain clothes.

In his teens he brought both passions together in his first business, Trini Fusion, an online house for luxury clothing and retail. At sixteen he moved to Spain in search of opportunity in Europe, venturing on alone while the business kept running back home.
